Madison Bugg (6-0 So. S/OH, Cardinal Gibbons) is one of three sophomores and the only underclassmen from North Carolina to appear on Volleyball Magazine's "Top 25 Underclassmen to Watch" list. Bugg is one of 12 players to make USA Volleyball's U-18 National team that will travel to Guatamala in April to play in the NORCECA qualifier for the 2011 World Championships.
Madison was named the 2009-10 Gatorade North Carolina Volleyball Player of the Year and the 3A state finals MVP after leading Cardinal Gibbons (25-1) to the NCHSAA 3A state championship. Gibbons finished in the top 25 in three different end-of-year national polls.
