Burns beat Chase tonight, 5-2, and improved to 12-4 overall and holds 1st play in the SMAC at 7-1.. The Bulldogs continue to have a very good season so far and I think should be a team to keep an eye on..

Definately......Their team era is around 1.50 and they're pretty young starting 3 sophomores and 3 juniors.

It will bea t East come on up it should be a good one.The Cavs are looking pretty good to even though they got hammered by South Caldwell last week.

The new Impact Baseball rankings are out and Burns is #9 in the 3A part. East is #8 in 2A. I think it's been 10 years since Burns had a ranked team. Very impressive boys...keep it up!!!

I think you're right.. Last time Burns baseball was ranked (that I remember) I was a senior, which was 2002..

Ugly game tonight for both teams, East couldn't hit very well as Burns out hit them and Burns made a few key errors for a East victory. Needless to say these are the best two teams in the conference. I wish Burns good luck in the playoffs.
