Ross Rushing of Metrolina Christian had a great night in a 66-42 win over High Point Christian. The score was 58-22 when the starters were pulled in the 4th. I'm sure it has been done but when was the last time a dual threat QB ran and threw over 250 yds. each? 17-29 / 271 / 3 tds. passing and 262 yds on 23 carries. High Point Christian was not a pushover and was actually expected to win this game.

Several HPCA starters did not play on defense. I promise you that QB would have gotten hurt in that game the way he was running around. He was throwing against atleast 2 freshman DB's. Stop it.

Listen, that kid has played against Newton Conover in playoffs as a sophomore Anson, AL Brown, Concord, and the like as a freshman and never got "hurt" by future D-1 players on those teams. You had good players on the field who were hustlers and played hard. Don't disrespect them with that kind of talk. It's not like he was surrounded by a stellar group to help him. Respect it.
