NOTE: This is the only Eastern NC-based combine this year!!

9:30 AM Registration begins for Position Players

Kickers/Punter/Long Snappers Testing Begins

INFORMATION

This combine is open only to rising seniors (Class of 2013). Cost is $20 per athlete. The event will be held rain or shine.

All athletes will register in the new gymnasium located adjacent to the football stadium. Signs will be located directing athletes where to enter based upon their position to register.

There will be six groups of athletes: QB/WR, RB, OL, DL, TE/LB, DB. Athletes can note a secondary position on the information sheet that will be completed. Athletes should test with only one group.

There will be 6 stations for the combine: 40 yd dash, Pro Agility, Bench Press, Vertical Jump, Height/Weight/Photo, and Skill Development Drills. Athletes will rotate through the 6 stations with their group.

40 yd dash will be measured on a rubber track, utilizing 2 watches. Each person will get 2 attempts. Pro Agility and Vertical Jump will be done indoors on gym floor. Development drills will take place on grass field. Therefore, athletes are encouraged to bring different shoes for the different activities.

Each participant will receive a Shrine Bowl Combine t-shirt and results will be published through the NC Shrine Bowl committee and reported to various news outlets.

All Kickers, Punters, and Quarterbacks should bring their own balls. There will be a limited number available at the site.

Athletes should bring any highlight or game tapes to be turned in at registration.

Concessions will be available all day, please support the SJHS booster club who is helping to put on this event.

South Johnston High School - 10381 US 301 South, Four Oaks, NC 27524

FROM POINTS NORTH (Smithfield, Wilson, Rocky Mount, etc.)

Take I-95 South towards Benson/Fayetteville.

Take exit 87 (Four Oaks exit)

Turn right at top of ramp

At first stop light (McDonald's), turn left on HWY 301 S.

Travel approximately 5 miles, school is located on left

FROM POINTS SOUTH (Dunn, Fayetteville, Lumberton, etc.)

Take I-95 North towards Benson/Smithfield

Take exit 79 (Benson exit)

At end of ramp, turn left onto Hwy 50.

Travel through downtown Benson.

Turn right onto HWY 301 North (this is just after crossing the railroad tracks)

Travel approximately 2 miles, school is on right.

FROM POINTS WEST (Raleigh, Cary, Durham)

Take I-40 East towards Benson/Wilmington

Take exit 325 (NC 242/Woodall Dairy Road)

Turn left at top of ramp onto NC 242

Travel almost 2 miles to stop sign.

Turn right onto Raleigh Road

Travel .5 mile to stop sign (you will cross railroad tracks)

Turn right onto Hwy 301

School will be immediately on your left.

FROM POINTS EAST (Clinton, Topsail, Wilmington)

Take I-40 West towards Benson/Raleigh
