CONCORD, NC - The VTO Sports All-American Challenge had over 250 players from 20 states to participate in their event at West Cabarrus High School this weekend.
The two-day event had three sessions that included a combine with testing and 1-on-1s, team-building events, a 7-on-7 tournament, and a linemen challenge.
Vince Jacobs, one of the original founders of VTO Sports decided to use NFL team names this year that corresponded with some of the cities that held camps. They were the Bengals, Bucs, Cowboys, Falcons, Jags, Lions, Panthers. and Rams.
“This was our fifth All-American Challenge and I must say it was our best one yet,” Jacobs said. “The talent level was incredible and the competition was outstanding. We had more than 20 states represented. I would like to say thank you to all parents, guardians and coaches for supporting VTO Sports. This was a great way to end the 2022 season.”
The top performers in each position group were named to the 2022 VTO Sports All-American team and a MVP was also announced for each group.
Here are the VTO Sports All-Americans by position groups.
