VTO Sports held their annual All-American Challenge on the weekend of July 13-14 at West Cabarrus High School in Concord, NC. The event featured athletes from the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nevada, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

The challenge featured team building skills and individual skills events. On Saturday, there were two sessions. Session #1 consisted of the combine and camp, while Session #2 had the 1-on-1s and team challenge. On Sunday, there was a 7-on-7 tournament that was won by the Chargers.

One parent gave their opinion on the event by saying, “Thanks again for a great weekend. We will follow and promote VTO anywhere you go. Regardless of expected hiccups, it was a first class event ran every time by you and your staff and coaches. You are appreciated!”

Coach Vince Jacobs, VTO Sports Camp Director:

“We hosted our eighth All-American Challenge this weekend. I’m very proud of this year’s event. Our numbers were lower than normal but the talent was solid. We had athletes from twenty of our Elite 100 camps. We had eighteen state represented on the field. We also had a large group of middle school athletes that competed very well.”

“We made major changes to coaching staffs for this year. We invited college coaches to work the camp and work directly with the athletes. This was super successful and we plan to make this a standard going forward. We got some great feedback from the athletes and their parents.”

Our mission at VTO Sports is to find athletes not known by colleges and give them the opportunity to show their skills and compete against athletes from all over the country.”

“I’m really excited about the future of VTO Sports”
