4th Annual Southeast Summer Showcase

The 4th Annual Southeast Summer Showcase Returns Sunday, June 15.
The 4th Annual Southeast Summer Showcase, organized by BasketballElite.com and sponsored by Champion, Pepsi and Subway, is set to tip off on June 15 at Forsyth Country Day School in Winston-Salem, NC.

The Southeast Summer Showcase is one of the premier individual basketball showcases in the country; Last year's event featured 8 rising seniors who eventually landed at Division I programs, including Gabe Devoe (Clemson), Gary Clark (Cincinnati), Coye Simmons (Georgia Southern), Stavian Allen (Liberty) and Javis Howard (Charleston Southern). The dunk contest landed on ESPN's top 10 for the weekend as 6'1" guard Carlee Clemons shocked the gym by leaping over both Howard and Clark at the same time.
This year's roster features several collegiate prospects including Zaqwuan Matthews (Myers Park HS), James Rouse (Hargrave), Charles Norman (Prominence Academy), Harrison Curry (Elite Prep), Malik Constantine (Olympic HS), Jaquar Moorman (Grimsley HS), Josh Helton (Kings Mountain HS), Nubian Spann (Panther Creek) and several more. Spann made ESPN highlights himself this weekend when he broke a backboard on a breakaway slam, and will be competing in the dunk contest.
This event takes place on the first day that college coaches can contact rising sophomores, and since it is a Division II 'live' period, it is expected to have high coach turnout.
