Introducing the 2024 NCPreps HoopsFest

NCPreps.com has been providing coverage of North Carolina high school athletics since 1998 when founder Arnold Solomon and his son Greg started the site in the Rivals network.

Deana King took over as Publisher in 2009 and has been one of the top high school sports journalist in the Tar Heel State.

“Today, I’m happy to announce the first annual NCPreps HoopsFest on June 29th at Starmount High School in Boonville, NC,” said King. ““I’m so happy to be able to do something basketball-wise for this great state and to do this at my alma mater means so much to me.”

The NCPreps HoopsFest will have 8 varsity men’s basketball teams and 4 varsity women’s basketball teams competing in two games each.
