Maidens White verbals to Harvard
MAIDEN - Maiden High School Blue Devils and Coach Frank Snider are proud to announce that Alex White has committed to play football at Harvard University.
Alex is a captain of the Blue Devils and plays end and linebacker. He was an All Conference performer last year and was also selected to the All Unifour team. White currently has 25 catches for 506 yards and 6 Touchdowns. He leads the team in tackles

Alex is the son of Amy and Todd White. He is a member of Varsity Blue, The Beta Club, DECA, & the Spanish Clubs at Maiden High. Alex is currently ranked third in the Class of 2014. He is a member of the First United Methodist Church in Newton, NC.
Harvard is a charter member of the Ivy League, the oldest football conference in the nation. "It has been my dream to go to an Ivy League school and play football while I get a quality education. Going to Harvard, just makes it even better," stated White.
Alex had received offers from Cornell, Columbia. UNC Pembroke, Davidson, & Lenoir Rhyne.
