As the middle point of the season comes in the Hoop State, there have been a lot of players playing at a high level and leading their teams. We are going to take a close look at some of the players whose stock should rise and be on college coaches radar if they already are not.

BLAKE HARRIS - WORD OF GOD - 6'3 - 2017

Harris, a Washington Huskie signee has been one of the top players in the state posting 26.7 ppg, 9.3 apg, 4.4 rpg, and 3.9 spg. He is on course to be a guy who maybe can play in the McDonalds All American Game and represent NC. Blake is most definitely a Gatorade Player of the Year guy at this point in our eyes.

AARON WIGGINS - WESLEYAN CHRISTIAN - 6'6 - 2018

Since returning to the court on December 9th from injury, Wiggins has been on fire by averaging 14.5 ppg, 6.2 rpg, and 7 apg. His team currently is NCPreps.com #2 Private school team in the state and nationally ranked on MaxPreps Top 25 national polls. Aaron currently holds offers from Maryland, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Arizona, Providence, East Carolina, Charlotte, Old Dominion, Georgia Southern, Elon, College of Charleston, and Appalachian State. Wake Forest may offer this week.

TREY WERTZ, JR - PROVIDENCE DAY - 6'5 - 2018

Wertz Jr is one of top shooters and scorers in North Carolina. He is currently averaging 18.5 ppg, 5.8 rpg, and 3.6apg while playing one of the toughest schedules in the state and country. Trey recently picked up a offer from Virginia Tech. We at NCPreps.com have no doubt that Trey's stock is about to soar through the roof if he keeps up this pace.

DEVON DOTSON - PROVIDENCE DAY - 6'2 - 2018

Dotson is already a household name and one of the nation's top point guards. He still may be about to see another boost in his stock as the #1 NCPreps.com player in 2018 has been on fire. Like fellow teammate Trey Wertz Jr., Devon has recently taken down two top 25 national teams in Dematha and Sunrise Christian. He has also went head-to-head with a number of other top point guards and showed well. Dotson currently averages 23.7 ppg, 7.4 rpg, and 5.9 apg. He also recently picked up a offer from Maryland.

QON MURPHY - CANNON SCHOOL - 6'5 - 2018

Murphy has been on a recent tear currently averaging 17 ppg. 7 rpg, and 5 apg. He recently had some big games in the John Wall Invitational and re-opened eyes to let colleges coaches to stop sleeping. Qon is a player with a lot of tools and with one more season to go he can become the next kid to see college recruiting blow up.

MICHAEL WYNN - LIBERTY HEIGHTS - 6'6 - 2018

Wynn a newcomer to the Hoop State and he has come in and put up huge numbers. He currently is averaging 19 ppg and 5 rpg. As the word gets out about the him to college coaches, we expect his stock to rise.

AUSTIN NELSON - NORTH HENDERSON - 6'6 - 2017

Nelson has been on fire posting 28.9 ppg, 3 apg, 10.9 rpg, and 2.2 spg. His team is currently 10-2. While Nelson is unsigned, we expect a college to come through and get a steal.

TYLER MAYE - FARMVILLE CENTRAL - 6'0 2017

Maye is once again one of the Hoop State's top scorers and is averaging 31.2 ppg. They won the 2A state title last season. He currently has offers from Charlotte, New Hampshire, Winthrop, Coastal Carolina, Western Carolina, and Kennesaw State.
