NCPreps.com Spotlight: Reggie Bryant Jr.
Seventy-First High School (NC) WR Reggie Bryant Jr completely terrorized the competition this year. The 5'11 175-pounder from Fayetteville, NC took the state by storm as he caught 70 passes for a monstrous 1,354 yards and 15 touchdowns. The athlete from the city coined "Dreamville" where star athletes and entertainers are born every day, Bryant's game certainly entertained spectators as well as showed his star potential.
His combination of soft hands and smooth route-running ability places him in seemingly a league of his own. " I have no problem putting in extra work. I know what is expected at the next level and I think I can help any team out." Bryant stated. It's no surprise that the AP 1st-Team selection patterns his game behind another route-running specialist with incredibly soft hands. " I model my game after Odell Beckham Jr because he is so persistent in everything he does on the field. He catches the ball and runs his routes so smooth, he is very fearless." Bryant also plays shooting guard for the Falcons basketball team where he averages 5 points, 10 assists, and 5 rebounds per game.
