NCPreps.com Spotlight: Reggie Bryant Jr.

Seventy-First High School (NC) WR Reggie Bryant Jr completely terrorized the competition this year. The 5'11 175-pounder from Fayetteville, NC took the state by storm as he caught 70 passes for a monstrous 1,354 yards and 15 touchdowns. The athlete from the city coined "Dreamville" where star athletes and entertainers are born every day, Bryant's game certainly entertained spectators as well as showed his star potential.

His combination of soft hands and smooth route-running ability places him in seemingly a league of his own. " I have no problem putting in extra work. I know what is expected at the next level and I think I can help any team out." Bryant stated. It's no surprise that the AP 1st-Team selection patterns his game behind another route-running specialist with incredibly soft hands. " I model my game after Odell Beckham Jr because he is so persistent in everything he does on the field. He catches the ball and runs his routes so smooth, he is very fearless." Bryant also plays shooting guard for the Falcons basketball team where he averages 5 points, 10 assists, and 5 rebounds per game.

How did your season end?

"My football season did not end the way I wanted however we got a lot of things accomplished. "

What are you career stats?

"My football career stats are 138 receptions for 2,812 yards and 30 touchdowns. I'm #1 all-time at Seventy First as well as #1st all-time in Cumberland County for receiving yards and touchdowns. Also, I finished 23rd all-time in North Carolina for receiving yards."

What are your strengths on the field?

“My strengths on the field is my route-running ability and ability to catch over defenders."

What schools are interested in you?

"Elon, Winston Salem State, NC State, UNC, Duke, and North Carolina A&T. "
