Get to Know the Player
How would you describe your game? And what position do you see yourself playing?
I am a back to the basket player for the most part. I can get out in transition and I don't mind getting physical in the paint. I see myself playing the power forward position.
If you had one player that would describe you the best, who would it be?
I would describe my game like Tyler Hansbrough in his early UNC days.
How has your recruitment gone overall in your eyes?
Pretty slow until recently. After the NC Top 80 Camp in Greensboro, it started picking up.
What offers do you currently hold from schools?
None at this time so far.
Which schools are showing you the most interest?
Princeton, Old Dominion, Lipscomb, Columbia, and Cornell are the schools showing interest so far.
Have you planned any visits in the future?
The Only planned visits right now are possibly to Loyola-Maryland and Old Dominion Elite camps.
Could you describe some of the schools you have been to and your thoughts on them?
I haven't been on any visits yet.
Basketball wise, what are you looking for in a school?
A team that has a strong commitment to each other and the game. Strong competition and a coaching staff that pushes me to be the best player I can be.
What have you been working on during the off season?
Weight training, conditioning, foot work, and ball handling are some of my main focuses in the off season.
What are your strengths & weakness on the court?
My strengths are my post moves, my mid-range jumper, post defense, rebounding and I have a high motor. My weaknesses that come to mind are ball handling and on ball defense.
What do you think you could provide on the court to a collage team looking at you?
A strong post player with an excellent work ethic and a player that is coachable.
Any goals you would like to achieve before you graduate high school?
I would like to achieve All-Area, All-Conference and hopefully make it deep into the playoffs.
How did this past season go in your own opinion for both yourself and for your team?
For myself, I feel that I did ok, but I wasn't as consistent as I would like to have been. As a team, we didn't play to our potential.
