VTO Elite 100 Recap

VTO Sports has been the nation's leader in providing quality combines for high school football prospects. This year, VTO Sports held their annual Elite 100 Combine at Garinger High School in Charlotte on Sunday. Despite rainy and cold conditions, over 115 prospects from the states of North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia attending this event.

The event featured the VTO Sports staff instilling proper techniques to each position groups and later the participants were involved in 7-on-7 and 1-on-1 events. Some of the most exciting action came on the "Stunt Drill" for linemen in which the offensive linemen must protect the "QB pocket" versus defensive linemen.

Vince Jacobs, a co-founder of VTO Sports had the following to say after the event. "The 2017 Elite 100 Camp was one of the best in years from the effort of the athletes. It wasn't as talented as the group last year in that group had over 30 D1s, but theses athletes worked harder. If the athletes take what they learn from our camp to college one-day camps, they will get noticed," stated Jacobs.
