There have been numerous players at the next level that have participated in past VTO Sports combines.
Jalon Walker, linebacker at the University of Georgia who is the 2024 Butkus Award winner as college football’s top linebacker, participated in a VTO Sports combine during his high school career. He was one of the Top Camp Performers.
Why VTO Sports Camps are worthy of your Participation?
Walker: “I recommend muddle school and high school football players to put a VTO camp on your list of camps to participate in. VTO camps are well-organized and run by knowledgeable position coaches. Players’ skills are challenged while participating in combine-style drills. VTO camps bring recruiting exposure to players as there are players who receive their first college offer after participating at a camp. VTO Sports Camps are on the national level with camps hosted in multiple states. There are a multitude of talented players who have participated at a VTO camp while in middle school and/or high school.”
Will Hawkins, wide receiver at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, is one of three players to receive the 2024 Ultimate Iron Warrior Award. Lewis Caralla, former Head Strength Coach at UNC-Charlotte gave out the awards. Will was pound for pound the strongest and best conditioned player on the team. Will participated in a VTO Sports Camp hosted at IMG Academy in Florida during his high school career. Will was one of the Top Camp Performers.
