NCPreps.com has announced RB Derrell Scott of Havelock High School as the winner of Mr. 3A Football for the 2013 season.

Scott has been a key member of the Rams' 3-time state championship teams. The senior ran 229 times for 2,147 yards with 25 touchdowns.

Scott was an AP and a NCPreps.com All-State selection and has not decided on a college yet. Tennessee, South Carolina, and NC State are among his leaders.
