Players Reactions From 2024 VTO Sports All-American Challenge

NCPreps.com spoke to participants from the 2024 VTO Sports All-American Challenge and got their thoughts from the event. The Challenge was held at West Cabarrus High School in Concord, NC.


CAMERON MCADORY - 2025 - DB - Bessemer, AL - DB MVP & VTO SPORTS ALL-AMERICAN

What are your thoughts on the VTO Sports All-American Challenge?

MCADORY: “Well, my thoughts on the VTO Sports All-American Challenge is that it’s something that I can learn from and get better at. I think I did good, but I know I can do better by working hard and pushing myself to the fullest and making great decisions on in off the field.”

How did you think you did and what things are you working on to get better?

MCADORY: “But I think I did pretty good. I love how they were coaching us up and had college coaches out there, so it was a good experience.”

Have you been getting any recruiting interest?

MCADORY: “Recruiting-wise, I’ve been going to camps and stuff, but haven’t had anyone reach out to me yet. I have been talking to a few coaches. I thank VTO for the opportunity to get my name out more.”


CALLUM MCQUAGGE - 2027 - QB - Tallahassee, FL

What are your thoughts on the VTO Sports All-American Challenge?

MCQUAGGE: "The VTO All-American was a fun experience and I learned a few useful things to improve my throwing motion.”

How did you think you did and what things are you working on to get better?

MCQUAGGE: “I think I did pretty good, only a few missed throws but overall I think I did good. I won the strongest arm competition and I'm only 14 years old (Threw 57 yards).

Have you been getting any recruiting interest?

MCQUAGGE: “I am trying to get better at using my hips and rotating more when I throw. I have not been getting recruiting interest but I would love to.”


ZACH PRIVETTE - 2026 - WR - Charlotte, NC

What are your thoughts on the VTO Sports All-American Challenge?

PRIVETTE: “I thought the camp was very fun. It was a great experience, and everyone was very fun to be around.”

How did you think you did and what things are you working on to get better?

PRIVETTE: “I think i did pretty good and i am working on my press coverage releases right now.”

Have you been getting any recruiting interest?

PRIVETTE: “I have not gotten any recruiting interest yet.”


DANIEL VAITA - QB -2026 - Phoenix, AZ - QB MVP & VTO SPORTS ALL-AMERICAN - MOST ACCURATE PASSER

What are your thoughts on the VTO Sports All-American Challenge?

VAITA: “I thought the VTO Sports All-American Challenge was a really good place for me to showcase my skills and knowledge of the game to recruiters and anybody else that might be watching, or that is interested in what I can do on and off the field.”

How did you think you did and what things are you working on to get better?

VAITA: “I think I did pretty well regarding the amount of talent that was on that field last weekend and I thought I competed to the best of my ability showing the coaches that I can be a top recruiting prospect in the future. I have been working everyday on my fundamentals and my knowledge of the game so I can reach my full potential.”

Have you been getting any recruiting interest?

VAITA: “At the moment, I haven't been getting a lot of recruiting interest, but I have been getting invites to many camps by D3 and D2 colleges and other organizations over the past few years.”
