In the Greater Metro 4A: Hickory Ridge (5-3 3-1) at Cox Mill (6-2 3-1)
Hickory Ridge has scored 300 points and has given up 172 points. Coming off an open date, the Ragin' Bulls face the Chargers of Cox Mill in a Greater Metro battle. Hickory Ridge will be led by quarterback Caden Haywood, who has thrown for 16 touchdown passes with over 1600 yards. UNC commit Christian Hamilton and Jalen Harris are the main receiving targets. Speedster Vincent Griffin, who has 8 touchdowns and Aaron Carey are the running back duo for the Ragin' Bulls. On the defensive side of the ball, Kyle Perry, Jordan Wilkes (Richmond commit), Luke Gilbertson, Jamari Rodgers-Freeman, Alexander Bailey and Layton Clouse are keeping opponents off the field.
Cox Mill has scored 319 points and given up 192 points. Senior quarterback Dymere Edwards has thrown for 874 yards with 12 touchdowns and only 3 interceptions in 4 games. Senior running back Tyrell Coard carries the ball as the leading rusher by rushing for 221 yards. Senior Kendall Harris is the leading receiver for the Chargers.

In the South Piedmont 3A: East Rowan (0-8 0-4) at South Rowan (1-7 0-4)
East Rowan has scored 100 points and given up 292points. With RB/LB Sr. Josh Roman-Soto playing on both side of the ball, he is a constant threat as a runner and linebacker. Sr. Morgan Padgett and Sr. Evan Porter are the top players for QB Gavin Walker look to find for the Mustangs offense.
South Rowan is coming off an open date looking to avenge last year's loss to the Mustangs, South has scored 74 points and given up 377 points. Sr. LB Jacob Trimnal, OL/DL Aquiles Bernal (5 sacks), and sophomore Conner Richards anchor the Defense. Other top players for South are athlete Trae Rucker, Jr. Landon Richards (leading rusher with 413 yards), WR Jr. Naceir Parker (top receiver), Sr. Bronson Hunt, Jr. Alex Furr. Sophomore QB Gage Overcash hass passed for 550 yards this season.
Don's prediction: East Rowan 28, South Rowan 20
In the Central Piedmont 4A: Reagan (6-2 4-1) at Mount Tabor (7-1 4-1)
Reagan has scored 246 points and given up 201 points. The Raiders are anchored by a defense that returns 7 starters, 4 of which were all-conference players. The offensive line will be anchored by Sam Pendleton, a Notre Dame commit and Spencer Webb, a Duke commit. Senior quarterback Makhi Purvis will handle the offense with running back Tsion Saunders pounding out yardage. Wide receivers Jalil Rogers and Landan Callahan will be Purvis's main targets. On defense, defensive end Semaj Turner, who is committed to Duke, Nick Hall, Jeremiah Bailey, and Josh Lobs will be counted on to hold up the defense.
Mount Tabor has scored 252 points and given up only 97 points. Mount Tabor beat RJ Reynolds 28-0 last week. On offense, Sr. QB Semaj Reaves-Smith has thrown for over 900 yards. Wide receivers Shamarius Peterkin and JP Peterkin are the prime targets. The ground game has been a constant plus for Mount Tabor as RB.Giovanni "Gio" Caesar is is averaging 100 yards per game. Defensively, the Spartans have Sr. LB Nicholas Paige-Villalobos, Jr. LB Jerome Gibson and Jr. DE Anthony Patella.
